Net worth is what remains after loans.
In this product, household net worth means recorded assets minus recorded loans. A list of funds and deposits alone is an asset total. GrowUrDhan does not call that net worth when a loan is on the books.
The illustrative house
On the home screen, the Kapoor household shows assets of ₹3,07,15,934, loans of ₹46,00,000, and net worth of ₹2,61,16,000 — about ₹2.61 Cr. The family screen repeats that net worth and still shows each member. Those names are illustrative. They are not a customer and not a forecast.
Why the split matters
A spouse’s NPS is not the same owner as an HUF demat or a child’s Sukanya record. Adding the figures is useful. Mixing the labels is not. Member cards on the family screen are those separate amounts. They are not a second definition of net worth.
What this number is not
Not a legal valuation, not a tax assessment, and not advice to borrow or repay. It is only as complete as the assets and loans you recorded.
